I think the answer is you have to uninstall the trial and then try a repair on your previous version. If the repair fails, then you have to reinstall.

Keep in mind that the Std job settings does not embed the Adobe fonts. To embed the ALL fonts (as long as they are licensed for embedding), you can use the press or print job settings files.
