I think the future of Muse is very promising. It's clearly noticed how Adobe's team developed and increased the program capabilities within a short period of time.
My expectations that Muse will become more professional very soon. As if not, what would you imagine about the development direction in the upcoming versions?
Obviously, they will work on adding the ability of inserting custom media queries breakpoints (instead of limiting it to 3 designs only) as a workaround of the lack of "responsive" layout creation. And on a later stage they will convert this "adaptive / selective" concept into a more practical "responsive" approach.
I also believe that the automated code will be enhanced over time and will be much more organized for a developer to understand.
Conclusion, in my opinion Muse will be more powerful and reliable, however, not to the extent to be a replacement for an application like Dreamweaver.
